SBC Conservative Takeover Not a Make-Over
Christ's Prophetic Plans
By John MacArthur & Richard Mayhue
Christ’s Prophetic Plans offers the reader John MacArthur’s most explicit writing on eschatology and is perfect for pastors, bible professors, teachers, and students with a heart and mind for discovering Biblical truth. This primer takes you on a Biblical study of questions surrounding prophecy, Israel, the rapture, and the different millennial views. The fruit of such study is great as God specifically promises His blessing on those who know and obey the things of biblical prophecy (Revelation 1:3; 22:7).

SBC Conservative Takeover Not a Make-Over - Booklet
by Dr Shelton Smith
In 1979 the conservatives of the Southern Baptist Convention orchestrated
a "take-over" of the leadership posts of the Convention. They have
elected their candidate as president every year for two decades now (except
for 1994 and 1995). The liberals have fought back with fury and fervor.
As a result of the conservative resurgence, a number of good things have
happened, but unfortunately the overall situation in the SBC has not
improved as had been expected. The "take-over" (though hard fought and well
intentioned) has not resulted in a "make-over." The documentation
is plentiful and it is clear: the Bible-denying liberals are still holding
numerous SBC-funded posts; the SBC conservatives are cozy with Catholics and
charismatics; the SBC is more openly ecumenical today than when
the conservative resurgence began; and years of liberal influence have
severely weakened the doctrinal foundation of the SBC. As you
read this eye-opening book you can draw your own conclusions. We are
confidant you too will conclude that the SBC conservative "take-over" was
not a "make-over."
